How We Help

At Neenah Navasero Neurorehabilitation we provide customized physiotherapy rehabilitation for people that live with conditions such as:​

We are mobile Physiotherapists and Physiotherapist Assistants that travel to:

  • Your residence (home, retirement home, long term care)

  • Your fitness facility (gym, community centre, pool) or other preferred location

  • Your care facility (hospital, transition bed, convalescent care)

  • Your work or office

We help you regain, retrain and return:

  • Your body’s range of motion, strength, balance, tone, stiffness, stopping dizziness, fitness, & mobility

  • Your ability to stand, walk, hike, climb stairs, or run

  • Your confidence in participating in your life in ways that are meaningful to you such as fitness, gardening, sporting activities, and social activities

What to Expect

A physiotherapist will meet you for an assessment at your preferred location to create an individualized treatment plan for your specific needs. Based on your current needs for rehabilitation, your physiotherapist will work with you to plan your path to recovery. Treatment may include any or all of the following:

  • Education regarding your condition and how it relates to your mobility and prognosis for improvement

  • Therapeutic exercise programs for range of motion, balance, strength

  • Retraining function (transfers, sit to stand, walking) to maximize independence

  • Hands on facilitation and neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) techniques

  • Spasticity Management

  • Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)

  • Incorporation of motor-learning and neuroplasticity concepts to maximize return of function

  • Aquatic Physiotherapy (APT) in home or community pool

  • Vestibular Rehabilitation

  • A mindful approach
